We invite abstracts for the sixth annual Yaounde Seminar to be held August 24-29, 2020, at the campus of the Catholic University of Central Africa, Yaounde. We will consider papers on topics at the intersection of ethics, public policy, and health and welcome various perspectives including from analytic political philosophy, ethics, law, as well as non-Western traditions, e.g., African philosophy. Submissions are invited from PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty. Confirmed speakers include James Wilson (UCL), Christine Straehle (University of Hamburg), Sridhar Venkatapuram (King’s College London), Caesar Atuire (University of Ghana), Samia Hurst (University of Geneva), Shlomi Segall (Hebrew University of Jerusalem).

The Yaoundé seminar is an international, invitation-only seminar that brings together early career researchers with distinguished scholars working at the intersection of ethics and public policy, with the goal of facilitating discourse between scholars working in Africa and the global west and north.
