Being and its Beyond: A Seminar in Post-phenomenological Philosophy
A three-day seminar on post-phenomenology is scheduled to be held in the Department of Philosophy, S S University, Kalady, Cochin, India from 30th January to 1st February 2012. This is sponsored by Indian Council of Philosophical Research. The idea behind organising this seminar is to bring together the prominent scholars in India who are working in the field of phenomenology/continental philosophy, in order to initiate a good- quality discussion on post-phenomenological thought.
However a limited number of sholars from abroad can also participate. Presentation of papers are done mainly by the invited scholars of India who are outstanding in this field. Their travel, accommodation and hospitality will be covered by the organizers of the seminar. However a limited number of presentation/participation can be allowed in the case of scholars who would like to contribute formidable reflection in any of the issues comes under the post-phenomenological thought. Accommodation and hospitality would be given to them during the days of the seminar. However they must cover their own travel expenses. Selected papers from the seminar would be published in book form.
