The Søren Kierkegaard Society of North America invites contributions for two upcoming sessions to be held in conjunction with the American Philosophical Association’s Eastern and Central Division meetings. The theme is open, with submissions accepted in any area of Kierkegaard studies. Special consideration will be given to papers that relate Kierkegaard’s thought to a debate in a contemporary philosophical field of study such as epistemology, philosophy of religion, philosophy of mind, ethics, aesthetics, or metaphysics. Two panels will be assembled from the submissions and will be held in Philadelphia, PA, January 8-11, 2020, and Chicago, IL, February 26-29, 2020. When submitting your paper, please indicate whether you would prefer to be considered for the Eastern Division meeting in Philadelphia or the Central Division meeting in Chicago (or whether you would like to be considered for either meeting). Submissions should be full papers of no more than 3,000 words (excluding references) and directed to Eleanor Helms at ehelmszo@calpoly.edu. Since we have commentators for talks, the paper should be submitted in the form you will present rather than a work in progress. The deadline for submissions is July 1, 2019.
