Call For Application and Papers For a summer school
Marx and Dostoevsky: connections and disconnections
9 – 15 September 2018, Kiten, Bulgaria The event is organized by the Faculty of Philosophy, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, in cooperation with the Bulgarian Dostoevsky Society
In 60 h. of lectures and seminars, led by well-known lecturers and professors, the participants will get acquainted with interpretations, tematic and methodological trends in different research fields that have direct or indirect connection with the works of Karl Marx and Fyodor Dostoevsky. The participants will also have the opportunity to present their own papers concerning the topic
The school will be held in the Creative home of SU “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Kiten, Bulgaria.
10 MA and PhD students from Bulgaria will receive full scholarship covering all expenses (travel costs in Bulgaria, accommodation, travelling allowance) for the whole summer school period; the scholarship does not include participation fee.
15 participants will entitled to participation via paying a 120 Euro fee.

1. Motivational letter in English or Russian.
2. Copy of an official document, confirming MA/PhD student status
3. СV; publication list
4. Up to one standard page abstract of the topic (in English or in Russian) that is going to presented (not compulsory)
5. Recommendation from a MA/PhD supervisor

All approved candidates have to pay participation fee, amounting to 30 Euro by 15 August 2018.
