The University of New South Wales, Sydney is offering up to 2 Scientia PhD scholarships to work in the Faculty of Law on any project related to the topic ‘Social Movements, Political Activism and Legal Change’. The ideal candidate will have a background in critical legal studies, critical theory or philosophy and should have the capacity to undertake independent research as demonstrated by an honours degree or Masters. It is preferred that the candidate also hold a law degree but it is not essential. The package includes full tuition for 4 years, a $40,000 AUD p.a. stipend, plus a $10,000 AUD p.a. fund for career development. Expressions of interest are due July 20 2018 at the latest but should be submitted as soon as possible.
